A warm welcome and greetings from MOBILE MINE ASSEMBLY UNIT TEN located onboard Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan. MOMAU TEN is the Navy’s most active and forward leaning Mine Facility directly supporting joint and coalition exercise and operational missions throughout the Fifth and Seventh Fleet areas of responsibility.Our primary missions are to maintain a prepositioned war reserve service mine stock ready to assemble for strategic, operational or tactical missions as directed by higher authority and to provide exercise and training mines, material and training to support U.S. Naval forces, joint and coalition mining exercises.To meet our challenging mission set, TEAM TEN maintains and rapidly deploys highly skilled and qualified Mine Assembly Teams afloat and/or ashore throughout the Pacific theater and Arabian Gulf. We can be seen continually supporting operations in Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and throughout the Arabian Gulf.We here at TEAM TEN stand by, world wide assignable, to meet the challenges of Mine Warfare.
