I'm LT Anderson, Commanding Officer of Mobile Mine Assembly Detachment TWELVE. Our motto "Tachi Iri Kinshi" is Japanese for "No Passage Allowed" indicative that the way ahead is mined. My detachment is located onboard the U. S. Air Force Base, Misawa, Japan, one of the most beautiful locations in the world. We are the proud occupants of the best mine assembly and maintenance facility in the world. Our primary mission is the storage, maintenance and assembly of underwater mines in support of COMPACFLT and COMSEVENTHFLT mining operations.
